IL&FS Skills follows demand led training approach hence industry linkages are explored and built prior to the commencement of the training programme. This is to ensure that demand of the required job role exists in the market, offering meaningful employment opportunities. This will also ensure that every trainee has a fair chance of getting a job after successful completion of the training programme. A provisional placement letter is made available for each commencement of training.
To facilitate placement linkages we have a dedicated placement cell which closely works with a network of 1000+ national and international placement partners across sectors and locations on an on-going basis for successful placement of candidates.

1.Hire and train
One of the focus areas of IL&FS Skills is providing manpower management and training services to corporates, with the intent to support in strategizing, designing and implementing training and hiring initiatives that ensure quality recruitment, skill building and productive manpower.
The most successful model is Hire & Train, where, as the name suggests, the candidate is hired (by way of Letter of Intent) before he/she enrolls for the training program.
These are programs exclusive to an employer wherein the recruitment and learning teams are involved in the entire process:

2.Provide employment opportunities to our trainees
We at IL&FS Skills, work with the youth, helping them build their careers. Our employer partnerships are essential to helping us fulfill our goal of providing employment opportunities to our students. Our Placement Cell engages with corporates and other organizations providing opportunities to connect with IIS student and alumni talent.
3. On–the–Job training
Our trainees work in the industry for firsthand experience of the workplace. This helps them gain confidence as they practice under the administration of qualified staff and get involved in actual workplace. We are open to new employer partners eager from varied sectors where we can place our trainees for on–the–job trainings.
